2025 EYE Schedule
The Summer 2025 EYE Program includes two half-day trainings and 6 weeks of work experience. To ensure the youth receives the full benefits of EYE, they must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week and a maximum of 30 hours per week for at least 5 of the 6 weeks. Youth must make every effort to attend all training sessions and can miss no more than five days of work once placed at their worksite. Contact DFSEYE@fairfaxcounty.gov for questions on the schedule. Training Sessions Training 1 Session (youth will attend one of the following sessions): June 16 at 9am-12:30pm (DARS only) June 17 at 9am-12:30pm June 18 at 9am-12:30pm (virtual) Training 2 Session* (youth will attend one of the following sessions): June 23 at 9am-12:30pm (DARS only) June 24 at 9am-12:30pm June 25 at 9am-12:30pm (virtual) Financial Literacy: June 27 10-11:30am, virtual via Zoom Work Experience Details To ensure youth receive the full benefits of their work experience, youth will need to participate in work experience a minimum of 20 hours per week over 6 weeks. Work experiences are scheduled between 8am-6pm, Monday through Friday. Exact hours may vary based on youth and employer availability. Work experiences are scheduled between the hours of 8am-6pm, Monday through Friday.
