Employment Supports for Lifelong Achievement (ESLA)
What is the ESLA Program?
ESLA prepares jobseekers who have a child under 18 and face barriers such as low-income, legal history, and/or disabilities to enter and maintain employment with the prospect of a career path and wage growth. Customized employment supports for those who qualify may include:
- Employer outreach
- Career and job coaching
- Paid work experiences
- On-going customer support
- Job lead assistance
- Occupational training
- Follow-up incentive
Who Is Eligible?
Eligible participants must meet the following criteria:
- Individuals with at least one dependent child under the age of 18 years old with an income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level and residing in the counties of Fairfax, Prince William, or Loudoun or the cities of Manassas or Manassas Park.
- Note: Individuals enrolled in the TANF VIEW program are eligible.
