If you are a displaced federal worker or contractor who was laid off on or after January 24, 2025, and reside in Northern Virginia, Talent Up can accelerate your career opportunities.
ELIGIBILITY
- Displaced federal worker or contractor who was laid off on or after January 24, 2025, and has a primary residence in the counties of Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, or the cities of Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas, or Manassas Park.
- All candidates must be eligible for and enrolled in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Dislocated Worker Program.
- Resume or application that meets the qualifications of posted professional training opportunities.
- All candidates must be work ready, as opportunities are limited and competitive.

ELIGIBILITY
- Any for-profit business, non-profit organization, or government agency within Northern Virginia.
- Hiring for mid-level jobs in fields such as:
- IT
- Project Management
- Health Care
- Public Sector
- Ready to establish a work-based learning internship that pays a competitive wage.
- Can demonstrate they are ready to hire Talent Up Northern Virginia interns at a minimum starting wage of $30 per hour.
